Re: Details inside of airplane kits
Tamiya kits have a lot of inside details but nothing compared to WNW (recently defunct) kits. Indeed most modelers took photos of each step of their progress. Think a WWI Gotta bomber in 1/32 with a full interior!
Thanks...great suggestion. I値l be doing another super detailed Tamils kit in the fall and will do just that. Best and stay well
It's too late now but I would suggest taking photos along the way and writing a build essay for posting on line. That way, people all over the world will see your work. And if the model turns out that nice, maybe a magazine would be interested.
Incidentally, taking pictures during the build process is also useful for checking your work.

I知 in the process of building a Tamiya aircraft with unbelievable detailing inside the planes guts. The kit is fantastic and I知 loving the build but when I attach all outer skins, all that detail is hidden! I知 wondering the purpose of such details. I did a great job with the cockpit and when I assembled the two halves of the fuselage, almost all the details are hidden...feeling very dejected about now! Comments welcome
