but just want to know if that could be possible to 'engrave' in different fonts.

I've had several brass plaques made at a local engraver shop (very reasonable prices). His engraving is computer generated so any fonts, or artistic devises (anchors, etc) the engraver didn't have, I would have had to generate on my computer (any "office" type program), download it to memory card, or thumb drive, etc. and give it to him for uploading. As for felt cushioning, I use self-adhesive felt pads for chair and table legs. You can also find thinner self-adhesive felt in larger sheets, but it's more expensive.
can you get those plaques in different languages....Russian, Japanese, etc??
On the question for mounting, on a waterline model, do you do a diorama, or just mount on a piece of wood...or do you add blue felt to the wood???
