Re: British Town Class Cruisers
I concur, it's a good book and well worth the £20.00 or so spent on it.
That review pleases me no end; I am awaiting the arrival of my copy from Barnsley (bought with loyalty coupons).
I recently purchased and received a copy of British Town Class Cruisers - Design, Development & performance - Southampton & Belfast Classes, by Conrad Waters and published by Seaforth. While I am not qualified or sufficiently knowledgeable to comment on the accuracy of this publication, I must say that I am very impressed with the quality and number of images and line drawings. I purchased it at a price of £22.53 including postage and strongly believe that this is excellent value for money.
There is a very well written appendix on camouflage and appearance with seven page of colour artwork, each with two images.
