Re: PLA-N Reference Book
As the former editor of the U.S. Naval Institute's formerly biannual reference book on the world's navies, Combat Fleets of the World, it's my reasonably knowledgable opinion that the PLAN book is by far the most comprehensible, accurate, and comprehensible reference available on the Chinese Navy, Coast Guard, and several other Chinese paranasal forces. The drawings are superb. Copies of this book, in digital and printed form, should be on the bridge and in the CIC of every USN PacFlt warship. The drawings, by the way, were done for what was to have been a new edition of the venerable (and equally useful) Weyer's Flottentaschenbuch, which,, alas, is now no longer to be published (and there hasn't been a new edition of Combat Fleets since 2014).
does it have drawings for the Type 053H2G Frigate & Type 053H3 Frigate as I'm looking for drawings for the smoke stacks as in their shape? Zhengdefu's 1/260 scale type 53 frigates' stacks are to squarish compared to photos I've seen online.
