No I don't have picture of the Ellet just the statement in the Squadron book on USN Destroyer and Destroyer Escort camouflage of WW2 SS# 6099
that states "The USS Ellet DD-398 and the USS Bailey DD-492"wore measure 5 .
Do you have a pic of USS Ellet?
I have learned that the USS Ellet DD-398 was painted with Measure 1/5 as well as the USS Bailey DD-492 was painted with Measure 5 on either Measure 11 or 21 in 1943 after it was discontinued in the fall of 1941.
Does anyone know if any of the US Navy destrwore MS-1/5 in 1941? Or any other measure with a false bow wave?
