That the British were unhappy with the bow form is reflected in the form that was ultimately adopted for Vanguard. But, as I stated, the ships were able to function (including fight) "as-is". Able enough that changing the bow form had no priority over much more critical changes and repairs being done by the over-worked shipyards. But had the form been considered "perfectly
seaworthy", Vanguard would have retained the same shape.
No - they were perfectly seaworthy - as noted above see Duke of York's fight with Scharnhorst.
The RN needed to fight any time and in any weather.
