Yes, I immediately corrected my post-see below.
CVA-67 never had nuclear reactors as only CVN-65 USS Enterprise had those besides 8 of them whereas the next nuclear powered aircraft carrier is the CVN-68 USS Nimitz with 2 reactors. http://www.navsource.org/archives/02idx.htm
CVA 67 had 8 nuclear reactors. In order to remove the radioactive cores and associated equipment, the ship was cut open for access, with many hull pieces removed. She was then scrapped. Trying to preserve her as a museum while removing the reactors would have required major rewording and reconstruction.
Movement to have her as a Museum but did that fall through?
