Re: I once saw a artist rendering of Bismark and Tirpitz in New York harbor, I wish i could find it agai
That really is the stuff of nightmares. However, it is not so far fetched as I came across a Television Series which reported on the role of Nazism in pre-war U.S.A, and included an intelligence officer's interview of a German-American who had returned to Nazi Germany to fight on the Nazi side. In the interview he stated that his knowledge of the U.S. would assist in establishing a Nazi state (my synopsis). The Nazi soldier did not consider that the idea was far fetched. Food for thought.
Incidentally, there were scenes of a summer camp and activities which were a parallel of the Hitler Jugend. Essentially, Juvenile Americans being brain washed. Having studied/read the many aspects of both Wars, Treaties, et al., this came as something of a surprise. It does depend where one looks, of course. Food for thought.
Has anyone posted this here before. Sorry if it's a repeat.
Amazon series The Man in the High Castle has an alternate history dystopia where the Axis has won the war and takes over the US. Many interesting visuals including Yamato sailing thru San Diego harbor.
