and I believe your SALEM is 350.
of Very Fine, the quality of the molding is good with ten (10) spures, a medium/small sheet of PE, and a very small decal sheet.
The kit is Full Hull, with option to make it a waterline, there seems to be an etched (slightly) for the boot line (black line) around the hull, the hull looks correct even for the torpedo blister from aft of #2 turret to forward part of #3 (not #4) turret.
To be honest and a bit weathered out from Thanx dinner, I was just So Dang Happy getting a MONTANA (even though I usually build A/C carriers) after all these Many years waiting for a kit like this. Unfortunately I do not have any comments for SALEM kit.
Special Note: I also purchased the PE sheets + barrels that also come from Very Fine company, but I need to compare that another day, but will let you know.
Gidday Mario, I,ve been thinking about purchasing this kit or the SALEM one.
Can you please tell us what the kit is like? Specifically the quality of the molding, is it a full hull or halves, is the waterline scribed into the hull etc.
Never heard of Very Fire before but is it as good as Tamiya as a benchmark?
