Can be built waterline. Hull is scored inside to facilitate this and internal bracing also scored for this option.

I have the kit in the stash (how many times have I said that about a kit?). I got it on sale when a local brick and mortar shop closed. I also have the earlier Sevastopol kit.
They look good in the box, but I haven't tried to put either one together yet. North Star makes a PE set for Sevastopol, but I've found nothing for Marat. Previous Message
Has anyone purchased this kit ? It looks to be an interesting build, I just want to gather some opinions on it. I have concerns, though... I've never built a kit from Zvezda, it's 1:350 and I normally build 1:700 and am wondering what those of you that bought or built the kit think of it. Any info on this is surely appreciated. Oh, and is there aftermarket p/e for this kit ? Thanks !!
