I saw the movie yesterday and as it is a Hollywood production I went in not expecting anything out of it- I was not disappointed.

I was entertained and I spent 1/2 price because I saw it on a matinee.

I did find it amusing that EVERY BB at Pearl Harbor was a Pennsylvania class BB! LOL!

Also, that the Lexington was actually a Yorktown Class CV.... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......

Something to think about though.... what if this causes at least some young people to investigate/research further to find out what really happened in the events surrounding this historic battle isn't it worth it as a jump off point?

Of course, then they can become like us who nit pick every detail of a Hollywood movie (it's Hollywood for crying out loud) we don't find accurate enough because after all - we know better - right? (just ribbing you all of us in the rivet counter community - I am a charter member! LOL)
