The crux of this dispute is that China wishes to remain classified as a "developing nation"

I don't know what the official definition of that is, but when a nation chooses to develop manned space flight, thermonuclear weapons and the ICBMs to deliver them on, nuclear powered warships, and numerous other advanced technologies doesn't that lift them into the "developed nation" category? Oh, and don't forget to include currency manipulation.

China is gaming the system to take advantage of both the developed nations and the third world simultaneously, IMO.

The article will now give other nations a way to counter this practice at least where advantageous postage rates are concerned, making things more expensive to import from certain countries.
