False alarm: pretty sure this is HMS Jupiter...
...the pattern matches well, it is just that the three-color scheme looks like a two-color scheme, due to the low contrast of the photo, and perhaps lighting effects.

Going through the IWM photo database recently, I came across this photo supposedly taken aboard HMS Kelvin in August 1940. In the background is a J/K/N-class destroyer in what looks to me a previously undocumented light gray/dark gray "Alexandria type" scheme that I have not seen before. I could not find it in either Alan Raven's RN camouflage series, or Chris Langtree's book on "The Kellys."
Is this indeed a new scheme, or have I missed something, or am I imagining things?
