Remove the boot. The inner clamp will need to be cut off if its never been removed.
Position rack (the actual part that moves left/right in the housing) in soft jaw vise and remove inner tie rod. For the power steering rack it says to use a wrench on the rack to keep it from twising in the housing.
Both of these methods assume the rack is removed from the car (thanks GM). If your doing it in the car I’d definitely use a wrench to keep the rack from twisting while taking the tie rod off. The book also mentions staking the tie rods on for the power rack, but not the manual. It makes no mention of having to un-stake anything for removal. The book also shows the staking happening while the rack is in a vice, so not sure its possible in car. I can’t remember for sure, but I think I just used loctite.
For parts not really. Some times you can get stuff off amazon if you know the part numbers ahead of time. Summitracing or Jegs may have them as well since they’ve started selling factory replacement parts. Ebay maybe, but that seems to be swamped with cheap junk anymore. These should be available through any parts store also, though they would probably have to order them. Remember the tie rods are the same as the Fiero, which gets a lot more respect. I would not recommend the Fiero Store for these or ball joints. They have gone to selling really cheap ones at a high mark up. I got some that turned out to also be on ebay for $3 each, and they felt like $3 parts. I sent that garbage back.
