What is the best way to verify that the automatic transmission torque converter is going into lock up mode? Up shift is fine and drive train has 5,450 miles since 85. Everything resides under a 52 MGDT Fiberfab kit car. All emission stuff has been removed and it has a Weber 2 barrel carb. The entire drive train was removed from a 84 that was part of a train derailment in Indiana and had 9 miles on it. The engine and transmission have never been apart. I have put 2,500 miles on the car, primarily when I dove it from Texas to Michigan in 2015. It had been sitting since 1993. I love this little car.
