When I did my 82 to 83 brake conversion the "new" delco calipers looked penned, and included a note saying that this part is now reman. Thanks. I would have bought new. The most noticeable addition was drilled/slotted (race!) rotors+phat metallic pads. Pulls the little beast's nose right down to the road. Working with brake lines is a very BIG pain. It's getting so that I don't buy anything without a phone call just to make sure, of what I really can't say but if it's about a Chevette you better make sure "they" know what "their" talking about.
