I saw your post yesterday and now that I've measured the windshield and reread your post I think I misinterpreted your post. Mainly on the width measurements. I didn't take a inside measurement. There is a lot more tapper in along the sides toward the top and the bottom edge also has more of a curve than I realized. I think for a repeatable width measurement I need to try measuring down from the top at a couple points then measure across along those points.


I measured the windshield (early model w/ rubber seal, believe from a ’79) this morning and came up with the following:

Height in middle of glass (judged buy tab for mirror): 24.25”
Width at 12” down from top in Middle, measure across front of glass: 47.75”

The height measurement I am very confident in. The width I think needs some additional work to where it would be useful. I’ll try to get something better (repeatable) this evening.
