I have 14" Isuzu rims. The car can fit up to 205/70R14 or 185/80R14 without modification. 195/80R14 rubbed a little until I replaced bushings. Since this car was used often in Manhattan and because it's a Diesel, I had to find really heavy springs for the front else the front end would bottom out. Springs from a Ford Pinto fit but lifted too high. I cut off one full ring, and the heat softened the next ring, and now the front end sits high but not too high. I used the old front springs in the rear, so that sits even, too. However, I did have to get shocks that had longer range for the rear. It's nice because I never bottom out, I can drive through super deep snow with no problems, and I can work on the car without a jack! ![]() |
