I wasn't aware that any Chevette past 1981 had electronic timing? If it has a vac advance, you don't need to really do anything. If it has the 4 pin connector with the round holes, then yeah, you'd need to find one with a vac advance.

Don't worry though, the electronic advance is the rare one, so finding one should be easy, just find on from either a stick or an automatic respectively because I have noticed that the advance weights are different between the 2.
