They are also understaffed with a number of their people staying home (scared?) so there aren't enough staff shoppers to fill the orders. The pick-up time slots are all solidly booked until well into April so there's no way to order online. However, all orders must be made on line as they are not set up to fill orders any other way. Catch 22.
I could go in personally and shop, early in the morning on a Monday (7:00) when it's open to seniors only. I could then put the load on the water taxi by 9:00 if I can shop fast enough. Or, with less panic, I could shop early on any day and then haul it all out to the end of the road, which would save the freight charge and be just as easy if I had help unloading when I got there. Might even get some sorting done on the ferry.
Now I must decide if I want to do that. Really, it takes so long to enter the order online that I could probably get to town in the same time. If I could borrow a larger vehicle without charge (except gas) it might work but I can't afford it otherwise.
We'll see how it all shakes out.
Don't need anything on your trip tomorrow, but thanks for the offer.
