John Finlay

I learnt last night that John Finlay (Lt.) who was the officer in charge of the JSTS 1971-1974 is currently in intensive care trying to fight off a serious illness. Our thoughts go out to his family at this stressful time.

I'll post more info as I hear it.

I have learnt this morning that John Finlay passed away last evening after a serious illness. All of our thoughts are now with Win, Gillian and Jonathan.

I'll post details of the Funeral when I have them.

John's Finlays Funeral will be at 12:30 PM on 8th April at the Portchester Crematorium.

Mrs Finlay has asked that instead of flowers, donations are made to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Hi,

I had a message from Win Finlay over the weekend asking me to pass on her thanks for all who contacted her with messages of sympathy and those who attended John's Funeral. She was very touched that so many people remembered him.
