G'Day Colin and Tony, It may have been after Pony left that you, Colin arrived on the island that, in later years became known as 'Fantasy Island' by the poor guys stuck at Tamar on Hong Kong Island. I saw the pic of you, Colin on the go-cart which brought back some fond memories of Mr (Lofty) Rimmer was OIC in 1960 as he was the guy who gave permission for the purchase of the carts. He was relieved by Lt. Norman Hannam in 1962(?).
With Ron and Jill Day, Yvonne and I met Lofty at his house in Pompey after having left the R.N., sadly he is no longer with us, nor is Ron Day who with Jill was running a successful holiday caravan park near Bournemouth.
