We lived on Stonecutters from 1970 to 1972, my dad is Des Oakley and I think was Station Chief at that time. We also lived at Wuthering Heights and played on that old gun on top of the hill. My dad rigged up a zip wire between the trees up there which we had hours of fun on. We then moved to Quarry House and had the Finlays as neighbours. And we had a dog called Fluffy, a little chow who used to race around after the Land Rover when my dad would take us to the cinema round at South Shore. Happy Days!
