Hi 'Pony' & 'Nick', so much to feel good and chuckle about from our Stonecutters days. Often think of Steve, big powerful water polo player, the two of us tried to build a water polo area alongside the island swimming lido, the materials where bamboo poles kept in position by wieghts,floats & underwater pulleys. The fantastic invention was hoped to be typhoon proof! No need to say how long it lasted!!
The retirement goes well have managed to get some self-worth/self-respect into these later years. Hope for yourselves likewise, though it did take decades to set-up.
As said previously the .... career, 40 years man & boy for the Royal Navy, & .... the family life successful family with 2 children also 2 grown up grand children was a luck/success story.
Now live in Southern England.
