I dont know about stoncutters but I did do a fairly long spell at toward w/t and Gortnasaig farm.Mrs Lamont was a cheery old soul but could get a bit pissed off with drunken sailors. I do remember how perishingly cold it was in winter and going to bed with a coal fire in the hearth and still having to wear all my submarine jumpers ,socks and whatever else one could don to prevent frostbite.
Perish the thought Newzealand is not that cold
