Another memory.... Hoe was the island gardener who, amongst other tasks used to look after your parents garden. He grew the most wonderful vegetables. They had a slight taint to the flavour, but he would never disclose what he used for manure. It made your brother Jason's hair grow though.
I was told that Hoe fell off the liberty boat( T4 ),one night on the way back to Stonecutters whilst drunk and drowned. ( Hoe loved a tipple every night, along with most others ! ).
