Hi Folks, Although I did not serve with JSTS on Stonecutters I was the last CPOWtr of HMS Tamar based on the island during the close down in 1996. I lived in one of the flats along from the pool and during the final months lived in a house above the HKMSC depot south of the dockyard on the island. The Joint Service HQ was in the Prince of Wales Building on Hong Kong island. When I left the island, the foreshore by the pool was fast becoming the new Chinese Naval Base on takeover.
The group of tri service residents who were with me around 94 to 96 have a reunion every year. I'll let them all know about this web site and I'll be touch again soon. Regards Terry
