Thought I'd add an initial bit to this Site!
I was there at the closure of JSTS, '75 I think, after an 18 month stint,but the memory's going!
I was a POREL, and was with my wife Norma, Vicki aged 2 and Mark aged 6. We lived up the "Hill" in the top left Flat.
I certainly remember the weekly "social" football matches and the slow walk to the pool after doing an all-nighter in the Station.
Have got quite a few photo's and will get back when I dig them out.
Left the mob in '87 and am working for an IT company (EDS) involved with a lot of MoD contracts.
