Eastern CUBA has prepared as much as possible.
BUT, and I emphasize the following...
IF THis storm follows the current computer models, the entire southeastern US is in for trouble,
BUT...if this storm takes a path similar to Invest 99L, which went on to become Hurricane Hermine, regardless of wether or not that path ultimately goes to Houston or not...
WESTERN CUBA is far less prepared for that event than any other region, and behind them, the Eastern Yucatan...if this storm shifts in that manner, it will do so, catching all the "EXPERTS" off guard...and because of such, and its proximity already over the eastern portion of the country...take WESTERN CUBA both quickly, and far less prepared than they could have been.
Not to mention the destruction already obviously ahead for Haiti in terms of landslides and residual damage, will be exponentially worse.
I urge you to monitor this storm, to pray for Florida, for all in the obvious dangers ahead as it progresses...but as well, for those who may not be in obvious danger also, particularly Western Cuba, Eastern Yucatan, and yes, HOUSTON.
