"EVE WAS FRAMED!"
Before we begin With Regard to this study, I am reminded Counsel of Yeheshua that we should bear in mind before blindly defending our former understandings of traditinal doctrines.
of Lucifer/Satan, as Christ Yeheshua bade us “Make no railing accusations against the Devil.”
In Genesis 3, the Lord shared a thing with me a while back, and then instructed me to share the same with Lisa, and now I am instructed to share it with you. Firstly, The Serpent in Eden never lied to the women who would later be called Eve. He did act deceptively, he did manipulate her and use her naïve state of understanding against her,
but he did not lie to her. IN the narrative of Genesis 3 we see the serpent casts doubt into the mind of the WOMAN…
Genesis 3 KJV
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the
trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest
ye die
So the Serpent does not give false information, but draws a false conclusion into the mind of the Woman by way of Inquiry. One does not need to lie to be deceptive. When my first wife left me, she was the church princess, I was the bad boy from across the tracks who got religion prior to our coming together and getting married. She did not lie against me when she left me, but she presented the facts in such a fashion that by her presentation of 2 plus 2, those hearing herside would naturally draw a false conclusion of 5. She did not lie against me, but she did not bear honest witness either, she only shared part of the facts, out of context. This is more the case of
what we see here at play in Genesis chapter 3.
Firstly…before examining the question asked by the serpent, we must look at the answer given by the woman much closer…”God hath Said, Ye Shall not eat of it, NEITHER SHALL YE TOUCH IT, Lest ye die”
Is this the truth according to the testimony of scripture? Did the LORD GOD cite to touch the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and
Evil would bring death?
NO! Absolutely not! So where did the Woman later named Eve get this idea?
We see the truth of this in Genesis chapter 2…
Gen2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
Gen2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of
the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Gen2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt
surely die.
Gen2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
So here, we see the actual timeframe the command was given to ADAM in Genesis 2:17 does it say if he touches the tree he will surely die?
Does it say if he touches the fruit of the tree he shall surely die?
NO, it does not, the LORD God told Adam “Thou shalt not eat of it: for
in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
So where did this idea that to touch the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil would bring death? Firstly consider that when the command was given in Eden, the only law in Eden was “NOT TO EAT OF THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL”…when that command was given, the WOMAN was not present, had not been created yet, the only element of her creation at that time was in one of the ribs of Adam.
So who told the Woman about this commandment? Inspiration tells me
it was Adam.
And in his concern for her safety, in cherishing his wife, he added to
the word of “THE LORD GOD” telling the woman…”DON’T EVEN TOUCH IT,
LEST YE DIE!”
So here we got the woman alone later, in the garden the Serpent asks
“HATH GOD SAID?”
And the woman not truly being present as a Created Woman when the command was given, repeats what the man told her…”We shall not eat of
it, NEITHER SHALL WE TOUCH IT, LEST WE SURELY DIE!”
And the LORD GOD never said anything about not touching the fruit, only not to eat it. So the Lord puts a vision in my mind, of the Serpent touching the
fruit and still surviving as the serpent goes to telling the woman:
Gen3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Gen3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your
eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
Gen3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of thefruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Next we see the serpent tell the woman “YE shall not surely die:” Did he lie to the woman?
Most teachings say yes, but the truth is NO, the serpent did not. The serpent knew the woman was not present when the command was given and she only had the word of the male human ADAM to go on, hence confusion began in her mind with the initial question “HATH GOD SAID”.
The serpents goal was not the fall of womankind, but MANKIND, ADAM.
And the serpent knew the woman had not been commanded by the Lord God to not eat of the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, thus she was not under the subsequent curse of death, elsewise when the woman touched the fruit as seen in Gen 3:6, if that her husband told her to be true was true, she would physically fallen dead before ever taking a bite, simply by TOUCHING THE FRUIT.
When she ate of the Fruit and did not Phsyically fall dead, she thought her husband to be deceived, for her very living presence dictated the words of the serpent to be true…”YE SHALL NOT SURELY DIE”, a cleverly stated reply of the serpent, for the serpent said nothing of what would become of the male human, Adam, were he himself to eat of the Fruit.
So the question then begs…why did Adam not physically fall dead to the ground upon eating of the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil? It is because of the Woman. He was married, thus ONE FLESH with the Woman, and though decaying from the moment he partook of that fruit, her lifeforce was sustaining them both.
This then, is the cause why THE LORD God passed a Death sentence only to woman, by way of Travailing in Childbirth. It is also why The Male Human Adam, in Genesis chapter 3 goes on to Name one last creation of The Lord God, the Woman, whom he had names once in Genesis
Chapter 2 as “WOMAN”, he renames her “EVE” and cites this name is due a reason…”She shall be called EVE…FOR SHE IS THE MOTHER OF ALL LIVING!”
The woman allowing herself to be beguiled by the serpent, then beguiled her husband, and humankind was evicted from the Garden of Eden, Adam has just been given a curse to labor for his bread by fighting with a ground that curses his existence with thorns and thistles and yet he gives the Woman a title of Reverence…”THE MOTHER OF ALL LIVING?” why? It is a dual reason, that her lifeforce by their bond of marriage sustained Adam long enough for the LORD GOD to intervene and promise a Savior by the SEED of the Woman, and it was also in the knowledge that the only reason he did fall dead upon the very bite of that forbidden fruit, was due to his shared union of one flesh, with the Woman.
Had the Serpent told the woman, “If Adam eats of this tree, he shall not surely die….”
he would have been lying to the woman. But the serpent was trying to kill the man, Adam, and he was trying to use the woman, to get the man to eat the forbidden fruit from the very moment of his approach to beguile the woman. The serpent did not count on the bond of marriage, the unity of “ONE FLESH” having the means and power to literally physically keep Adam alive until the Lord God could
arrive to intervene in matters.
So the Serpent, did not lie to the woman, with regards to her not physically dying upon eating the fruit. And the woman in replying
“We shall not eat of it…NIETHER SHALL WE TOUCH IT, LEST WE DIE”
was reporting a command given her of her husband, not directly by The Lord God, and thus in both touching the fruit, and eating it, was able to do so, without sinning against The Lord GOD, and not physically fall dead to the ground with her first bite of that fruit. NOTE the punishment given the woman was not because she ate of the tree, but because she gave of that fruit to her husband to eat, knowing by doing so he would be violating what he believed to be a command of the Lord God. And subsequently her desire was then changed by The Lord God, that from the point of judgement her desire would be to her husband and it was at that point, The Male was given dominion over the Female human in marital relations.
