Some deaths to the north of us, more destruction to the south. At one time I was listening to the weather alert and we had two confirmed tornadoes on the ground, both supposedly moving at 60 MPH, one headed directly towards us. I thought that was about it actually.... I am surmising that is the one that went by just a few hundred yards away and tore up some planes that were tied down next to the airstrip real bad (they are just scrap aluminum now for the most part), and that was responsible for all the downed trees I saw on my trip out today. The other tornado to the north of us hit Ringgold. http://wdef.com/news/city_of_ringgold_trying_to_pick_up_the_pieces/04/2011 http://www.ajc.com/news/georgia-storms-15-confirmed-928006.html?cxtype=rss_news_128746 Last night when it started up again I just went heck with it, called my mom up, told her I loved her, then fell asleep in my chair. Slept through it all, I was just too tired by that point to really care much anymore. Wasn't much more to do anyway except ride it out.
