And I don't know if I posted this here or not, but the "dirty little secret" of the nuke industry is that reactor meltdown is not the worst thing, that's hollywood movie idea.
The worst thing would be a spent fuel pool fire, the 300 or so tons that are in average pool at that plant (they have 1800 tons in six pools) next to reactor in service for decades has many times the contamination of the 40% of the 180 tons of spent fuel that was blown out of Chernobyl. That's also why any "expert" saying "this can't possibly be a Chernobyl-type event" is full of male bovine manure.
Watching the NNK news with my wife, they're saying it's possible the spent fuel in pool in reactor #4 is on fire.
