My wife and I have greatly appreciated the prayers and good wishes of people in different parts of the world. My wife Carole’s Mum, Cissie, aged 96, made some progress at times after her recent fall and operation but then her body seems unable to cope. Much of the time now, she is asleep. She is being outstandingly well cared for in hospital and being kept comfortable. It looks now like a matter of time. She always said she wanted to go in God’s own good time and I think that is what will happen. Although 96 is a “good innings” from an objective point of view, having had her for so long makes the eventual parting all the more painful. Thanks again everyone. Alasdair
