One of the better features of the state of "things" in the United Kingdom, which is really no longer a Christian country, is that many of the churches are coming together in a new way and in a spirit of humilioty and reconciliation rather than picking quarrels over some tiny interpretation of Christian doctrine. I agree very much with the comment about pride. The church has been full of it in the past and the evangelical churches among the worst offenders. (It pains me to say that!).
