Obviously your scientific culture is a little underdevelopped.
You cited arguments I know from a lot of American fundamentalistic evangelical sites. That's to say that the debate "Religion versus Science" is senseless in my understanding.
Facts are facts and cannot be questionned. But beliefs are only religious statements you can easyly discuss.
Most of the sects (of American origin) I know claim to profess "the only right kind of Christianity". You gave me the impression of
partaking in that standpoint.
Of course, you have the right to do so, but there are a lot of other intelligent points of view you would be well inspired to respect.
To conclude, like I have stated already: I am not an evangelical fundamentalist, for Fundamentalism is to me the proof of a lack of serious biblical culture. Christianity is not at all a trowing of bible verses to stone all those not believing as you do.
Consequently I will continue to do what I have allways done: Practizing a Spirit led Christianity devoid of any form of fundamentalism whatsoever.
Let me say to finnish: I respect highly all people of whatsoever belief demonstrating by the commitment of their life that they are animated by the same Spirit at the origine of all good.
If you give me the choice: Between Jerry Fallwell or Pat Robertson, and Mother Theresa and Albert Schweitzer, guess whom I will chose....?
It would be a joy to discuss with you, but not at this level...
Have a blessed day.
In christian love
Pierre.
