Does anyone actually choose their payment network themselves, or do you not really pay attention to

I just realized I've never really paid attention to it. Maybe it's important? I don't travel outside my country, so I don't really know whether my card is accepted elsewhere.

Maybe some people need it for some reason. But I've always seen payment networks as a way to use your card in other countries. Even if that's not exactly how it works, you're still only using your card in your own country. It's better to choose a bank with good conditions than focus on the payment network.

Everyone really does look at the card's features rather than the payment network. Because that's more relevant. And people choose a bank based on what it offers. It can actually matter if you travel a lot or buy things from abroad. But since that's not really relevant to you, I'd just recommend reading it for your own understanding.
