Trying to find an old high school friend in the US

Does anyone know how to find someone’s current address for free? I’ve been trying to track down my best friend from high school (we graduated back in 2005!). We lost touch after I moved overseas, and now that I’m back in the States, I’d love to surprise him or at least send a letter. I tried searching on Facebook, but he has a pretty common name and I can't find his profile. Most of the websites I found on Google look like scams or ask for $20 just to show a phone number. Any suggestions for a legit people finder free?

That’s such a sweet idea! Reconnecting with old friends is always a bit of a gamble, but usually worth it. If you have his full name and maybe his last known city, you should try veripages.com I used it to find my cousin’s new place last Christmas. It’s a very effective find a person by name free tool because it updates its database daily. It gave me his current address and even some relative info which helped confirm I had the right guy. Since it’s a free basic search, you don’t have to worry about credit cards or subscriptions. Good luck with the reunion!
