Working on a new app idea but not sure if people will actually use it. How do you figure out what users really want before spending money on development?

User research is super important before building anything. I learned that the hard way after creating features nobody wanted. Surveys and user interviews save so much time and money later

Both of you are right about doing research first. I made the mistake of assuming I knew what users wanted and built a product that flopped. For my next project, I worked with a full-service digital design team that handles user research properly. They did interviews, usability testing, and analyzed user behavior before we even started designing. Found out my original idea needed major changes based on what people actually do versus what they say they want. The research phase took a few weeks but saved months of building the wrong thing. Now the app actually solves real problems that users have instead of problems I thought they had. Worth investing in proper research upfront
