What did you expect? Easy money and quick profits? You need to understand at least the basics of how it all works. The wear level definitely matters, but I think it's more important for expensive skins. Start by choosing a platform, I'd recommend tradeit code. Check how much the same skins as yours are actually selling for. If they're worth less than $5-10, I wouldn't worry too much about the wear level.
