Actually ran both side by side for about a week out of pure curiosity. Safari felt marginally slower on initial load but once inside the lobby the difference basically disappeared. Pulled up https://hispin.net/ while looking into this and mobile browser compatibility came up consistently positive across both. Chrome feels slightly snappier on Android specifically but Safari on iPhone runs clean enough that it never becomes an actual problem during sessions
