Internal links aren’t really “set it and forget it” either. I usually go through old articles every once in a while and add links to new content, plus I try to connect materials within the same topic through hubs or clusters. If you don’t have enough time, you can partly make up for it with external signals. For example, we sometimes use pbn linkbuilding through platforms like Natural Links to give new pages an extra boost without relying only on internal links.
