Job Interview Statistics in the UK – How Many Interviews Are Actually Normal?

Hi everyone, I’m fairly new to the UK job market and I’m trying to understand what “normal” really looks like when it comes to job interviews. Back in my home country, one or two interviews were usually enough, but here I’m seeing multiple stages, assessments, and long gaps between responses. It made me curious about UK job interview statistics and whether this level of competition is typical. I keep hearing about interview success rate being quite low, but I’ve never seen real numbers to back that up. How many job interviews does the average candidate attend before getting an offer? I feel like having proper job interview statistics would help me stay motivated and avoid unnecessary stress during this process.
