Hi everyone, I’m living in Halifax and starting to seriously consider replacing the windows in my older home. The house still has the original windows, and over the last couple of winters I’ve noticed more drafts, higher heating bills, and even some condensation buildup around the frames.
I’m trying to figure out if replacing them is truly a worthwhile upgrade or if it’s something people only do for aesthetics. With Halifax weather being so windy and damp, I want something that will actually improve comfort and efficiency.
Has anyone here done window replacement locally and felt a real difference?
