Extensions definitely open up so many possibilities! I went a completely different route and decided to try blue ombre hair with my extensions last summer. Started with navy blue that faded into a lighter blue at the ends, and it was absolutely stunning with my longer hair. The best part about doing bold colors with extensions is that if you don't like it, you can always swap them out! My stylist used human hair extensions that could be colored, so the ombre looked super natural. The maintenance wasn't as bad as I expected - I used color-depositing conditioner to keep the blue vibrant and washed with cold water
