'Upper' Miller's saturday

Join Eric E., and myself, plus many other open boaters on the Upper Millers on saturday.
The Upper is definitly more fun to paddle than the lower (IMO). The only 'fun' on the lower is the Funnel. The rest of the 'Lower' is just kiddy wave train's (yawn).
'Upper' has actual exposed rock's and eddy lines to 'work' your open boat skill's. Lower is Just wave train's, not too many opportunity's to play, just bob along.
Upper run's through roadless wood's to the take-out, Lower has Rt 2 for company.
But,...
Just my opinion. It really is, a better, funner, section than the lower.
Eric and I would love to have you join us.

I'm rethinking my plans. Washington Depot is a haul and I've been there twice this year.
Ain't been to the Upper in a few and it's way less driving.
I'll be at the Upper put in around 10 AM.

I'll join in on Saturday if I don't have to work. 50/50 chance that I won't have to go in. Won't know for sure until Friday.

Not to compete, but Tom and I are planning on a trip to the "Kiddy" Lower Millers Sat or Sunday. Never did the Upper, but the Lower is a white water experience for sure, nothing for flats. Anyone interested in the Lower? We have 4 in so far

If the open boaters are doing the upper on Saturday then that's where I'll go. I've always wanted to do the lower, so I'll probably join if you guys run it on Sunday.

Either way it would be good to get out of RI for a little while....
