Something Local Tomorrow

As much as I would like to do the Quabog, I'm just not going to have the time. Anyone up for something a little more local tomorrow - late morning start, mid-afternoon finish. Branch, anywhere on the Blackstone, even the Willimantic if we get an early enough start.

Erik, I'm in your boat too and love the quaboag but would likely need to do something more local tommorrow...let me check some river levels and get back to you later this afternoon.

How about the Lower Natchaug? It's short run, about 3 miles. About 1 hour from Providence.

What time do you have to be back in the afternoon?

Natchaug would be great - meet at Diana's Pool. I'd like to be home by 3:00. Could meet at 10:00 or 11:00. Let me know.

Erik and Dan - have fun - long stretch of flats on the lower - did it last week -mid week - Diana's was raging mad at the time. Maybe catch you guys next weekend.

Dan and I got on the river by 11:00, paddled for a couple of hours, and were on our way home by 1:00 - worked out great. The river was at 3.8 feet - could have used another foot of water, but it was still fun. It must have been great earlier this week. Didn't get many pictures, but I did get a video of Dan running Michaud's Hole - he made it look easy.
