Hello. I am interested in a whitewater canoe instruction/guidance that would teach how to catch eddies, peel out, ferry from eddie to eddie, how to surf, and read/run rapids. My ww experience so far has been racing in the Spring Scantic and Charlemont/Deerfield River races. I'm looking to learn the technical aspects of whitewater.

I did reach out to Zoar Outdoor about courses and the cost is high; which brought me here in search of local and cost conscious instruction.

In looking through the RICKA website it looks like
some training/instruction is possible even for guests to the club.

I paddle a 15' Esquif Prospecteur (35" wide, 14" deep, 2.75" rocker).

Any information on what RICKA (or others) can offer in terms of ww instruction (and when) would be appreciated. Thank you.
