We are planning to run the Branch River this Saturday, March 21st. Tentative plan is to meet at the put-in below the Harrisville Dam (4 Central Street, Harrisville) at 9:30 to unload boats and run the shuttle. We’ll need to figure out where we take out.

This is a 7- mile trip with two dams to portage and three short class II rapids. The water level should be good. There will probably be some strainers in the upper section that need to be portaged. Cold weather gear (wetsuit or drysuit) is required. You must have class II skills and be properly prepared for the conditions.
