The last time that I ran the Quaboag was in 2011 with Andy, Ed “Brewbeer” and the NPMB crew. Not sure why it took me so long to get back, but I finally did yesterday. The level was 4.4 feet - a nice lower level that was perfect for me in my open boat. The river is a little more technical at this level, and we did have to scrape over a few rocks and wiggle through a couple of strainers in calmer spots. Still, the class III section kept me busy enough that I didn’t take any pictures there. Oh well – have to go back again, and not wait 8 years.
