Paul and I were going back and forth over where to paddle. Paul wanted the Lower Millers. I was leaning toward Knightville section of the Westfield. In the end, there really weren’t goups going to either, so I talked Paul into a run on the Branch. Level was 4 feet / 500 cfs, which is as high as I have run it in a while. No bouncing off rocks, and I actually had to dump out the boat a couple of times. There are three strainers in the upper section – two we were able to paddle over due to the high water, one we had to portage. Nice trip as always. Few pictures here:
